These 100% cotton cards and envelopes are handmade from landfill bound clothing and printer's scrap. The materials are cut to pieces and beaten to a pulp in a Hollander beater. The pulp is added to a vat of water where the fibers are scooped up with a flat sieve called a mold and deckle. The wet pages are stacked, pressed, and left to dry before folding, gluing and packaging.
