These 100% cotton cards are handmade from landfill bound clothing and paper scraps from Inkello Letterpress. The kraft envelopes are handmade from recycled cardboard. The materials are cut to pieces and beaten to a pulp in a Hollander beater. The pulp is added to a vat of water where the fibers are scooped up with a flat sieve called a mold and deckle. The wet pages are stacked, pressed, and left to dry before folding, gluing and packaging.
The 'Thank You' text is letterpress printed in collaboration with Inkello Letterpress in Lawrence, KS.
